Community Guidelines

These draft rules describe the community Confess intends to create. They apply to confessions, comments, account details, messages, and every other part of the service.
Who may use Confess
You must be at least 18 years old. Do not create an account for a minor, pretend to be a minor, or use the service to contact or exploit minors.
Protect people
- Do not threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, or encourage violence.
- Do not publish private or identifying information about another person.
- Do not impersonate another person or falsely present an anonymous confession as theirs.
- Do not share non-consensual intimate content or any sexual content involving a minor.
- Do not encourage self-harm or exploit a person in crisis.
- Do not promote hatred or dehumanisation based on protected characteristics.
Keep the service genuine
- No scams, spam, deceptive links, malicious software, or coordinated manipulation.
- No sale of illegal goods or services.
- No attempts to bypass safety, reporting, age, or account restrictions.
Enforcement
Content may be limited or removed, and accounts may be warned, suspended, or closed. Serious matters may be preserved or disclosed when legally required. [Complete the notice, appeal, repeat-offender, and law-enforcement request processes before launch.]
